Jessie Farnsworth's (b. 2002, Nottingham) paintings emerge from sensory experience, internal dialogue and emotional responses to sound. Through fluid forms, shifting colour fields and layered mark-marking, she constructs imagined spaces that feel both bodily and atmospheric. Organic shapes drift across the surface like organisms or sonic reverberations, creating works that move between slowness and intensity, structure and improvisation. Her paintings often suggest fragments of alternate environments, connected through recurring forms and rhythms.
